2024 is an important year for The Riverline. We are in a new phase, where several required assessments and preliminary designs must be completed before construction can begin.

In February, C&S Companies began conducting The Riverline Study, which analyzes the environmental, cultural, and community impacts related to building The Riverline. This study is a requirement of the New York State Department of Transportation. The Riverline team is working closely alongside C&S throughout this process. The Study is expected to take approximately 10 months to complete.

Part of the Study includes a series of public meetings to give updates and involve all members of the community as we move forward. These meetings are a very important part of this process, as we are asking for input to help us keep the community's vision front and center and make The Riverline the best it can be.

We completed the first round of public meetings in March. These meetings included presentations about what The Riverline Study is and how the process will unfold.

Now that we are approximately mid-way through the Study, we are holding another round of public meetings in July! Please see below for details.

We will have more to present at this meeting, including results so far from the environmental, social and community, and cultural heritage assessments. We will also have some exciting display boards of preliminary designs for key locations along the corridor. Attendees will be able to offer their input and opinions on these designs. We encourage all members of the public to attend one of the meetings!

We will hold a final round of public meetings as the study is wrapping up in October/November.
