Community Bike Day

We held a terrific Community Bike Day event to help celebrate National Bike Month. The Riverline teamed up with GObike Buffalo and the Buffalo Police Athletic League (PAL) to help people get ready for the cycling season, and talk to them about how The Riverline will provide more areas for safe and fun cycling in the neighborhood.

 

GObike was there with their mobile repair unit and did quick repairs on several bikes, and PAL was on hand to generously give away bike helmets. "Kids of all ages" also got to make handlebar streamers and pedal their way to a delicious smoothie on the smoothie bike!

We had to end the event early because of rain but we were glad to be out there and meet everyone able to come by.
