We are excited to continue our free one-hour tours of The Riverline this year to share our vision for transforming the former DL&W rail corridor into a vibrant and innovative nature trail with inspiring public spaces.

The Basswoods tour will be on the first Wednesday of the month between May and October (May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2, and October 7). The tours begin at 5:30 PM, and start from the parking lot at Red Jacket River Front Park at the foot of Smith Street. It is recommended that you wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt as the trail is rocky and we may need to pass through thick vegetation. 

 

Tours of The Del will be on the second Thursday of each month between May and October (May 14, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8). The tours begin at 5:30 PM, and start at the corner of Louisiana Street and Miami Street in the Old First Ward. It is recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes as this tour is mostly on paved sidewalks.

The tours will be held rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of extreme weather conditions.
